Dr. Rob Koehn DC

Dr. Rob Koehn grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He attended both Butler County Community College and Wichita State University while completing his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences.  From there he completed his doctorate in Kansas City at Cleveland Chiropractic College with academic honors in April of 2015. He moved back to Wichita in May of 2015 and started his practice here at Dopps Chiropractic Health Clinic. Dr. Koehn comes from a diverse family but has always had a passion for healthcare. His mom is a Radiation therapist at St. Francis, and his father is a Master Electrician working in Wichita as well which makes him have a great affinity for work related injuries and treating them.

Dr. Koehn grew up playing sports and has a passion for treating sports related injuries and understands that proper healing takes time combined with the correct treatment and a well-rounded rehabilitation that the body needs.  He played a number of sports while in school including baseball, football, and basketball.  He was the head track coach for the Magdalene Middle School for a few years (volunteer position). Furthermore, he wrote a newspaper column called “Highway to Health and Fitness” for ten years. He enjoys working with athletes, workers, and families.

Dr. Koehn practices numerous adjustment techniques and likes to tailor all of his diversity to each individual patient.  He takes pride in identifying the problems that patients present with and working with then to not only remove their symptoms, but to increase their overall function and wellness to increase their quality of life.  Dr. Koehn is proficient with orthopedic exams and Radiology to best identify the correct treatment for his patients,

Some of Dr. Koehn’s treatments include extremity work, such as knee, wrist, and elbow problems; Muscle rehabilitation including soft tissue treatments such as Myo-facial release and Post Isometric Relaxation to improve muscle function and decrease soreness of the affected muscles. He treats patients in all phases of life from pediatrics to Medicare patients. Difficult cases are accepted and previous surgical patients can get great results from chiropractic care and improve their overall life.
