Chiropractic Adjustments

Our Chiropractors offer numerous techniques available to help serve each individuals needs. (Diversified, Prone Specific low force, Thompson, Gonstead, Activator, Upper Cervical, etc)

Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression is modality using cutting edge technology.  This is used to decompress the spine relieving pressure off the spinal disc’s helping to decrease pain, numbness, tingling. Moreover, decompression/traction helps to reduce adhesions, restore ligament elasticity, and reduce muscle spasm. It also can be used to help with the correction of spinal curvature (scoliosis). Helps reduce hydrostatic pressure of disc and promotes disc hydration. Treatment for bulged and herniated discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, and helps spinal curvature.

Cold Laser

Certain wavelengths of light have the ability to penetrate tissues of the body. This penetration allows the process of photobiostimulation on cells that is similar to photosynthesis in plant cells whereby light sets in motion a chain of chemical reactions. In human tissue the resulting photochemical reaction produces an increase in the cellular metabolism rate which stimulates cellular repair in: tissue, bone, muscle, skin, and enhances nerve regeneration. Moreover, the cold laser improves blood circulation and lymphatic response. Helps relieve acute and chronic pains. Reduces inflammatory duration. Increases speed, quality, and tensile strength of tissue repair. Treatment for strain/sprain injuries, and numerous other injuries/problems.

Interferential

This treatment decreases pain levels by stimulating the release of endorphins and enkephlins, along with locally sedating the area. It also helps to decrease muscle spasm and increase blood flow to the area. This modality also decreases swelling and stimulates tissue healing to allow your body to heal quicker. Treatment for joint swelling. acute or chronic problems, strain/sprain injuries, and pinched nerves, etc.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound increases superficial tissue circulation promoting blood flow to stimulate healing and metabolism.  Reduces muscle spasm, swelling, and pain.  Breaks up adhesions and scar tissue and calcium deposits.  Increases connective tissue elasticity.  A great treatment for tendonitis, heal spurs, acute or chronic joint problems, rotator cuff issues,  and many other problems.

Diathermy

Provides a deep source of heat to improve the circulation tissues. Stimulates white blood cell production, increases metabolism and waste removal. Common treatments include:  muscle spasms, asthma, bronchitis, “common colds”, lung problems, chronic joint problems, etc.

Intersegmental Traction

Intersegmental traction helps relieve back pain and stiffness. Linear muscle and joint traction of the spine works to increase spinal mobility, flexibility, and range of motion. Reduces tension in the muscles along with relaxing the patient.  Examples of treatment:  bulging or herniated discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, joint stiffness, helps spinal curves, etc.
